This internship focuses on bringing agentic AI into real‑world maintenance and service operations. You will design and implement AI agents that can autonomously search, extract, and reason over service reports, device logs, technician notes, and support documentation. Your work will contribute to improving operational efficiency, accelerating troubleshooting processes, and delivering value to internal stakeholders. You will collaborate with domain experts, engineers, and data scientists to translate business needs into technical AI solutions and integrate them into existing workflows.

Your role:

  • Research state‑of‑the‑art methods for tool‑use, planning, and multi‑step reasoning in agentic AI
  • Build unified retrieval pipelines across heterogeneous data sources (logs, service reports, technician notes, support tickets)
  • Prototype, implement, and test AI agents using real maintenance service data
  • Translate business requirements into technical system designs with guidance from domain experts
  • Evaluate and analyze model outputs, present key findings, and recommend improvements
  • Document your work, share knowledge, and collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary team

You're the right fit if:

  • You are a Bachelor or Master student in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
  • You have a solid foundation in machine learning, NLP, or generative AI (experience with agent frameworks is a plus)
  • You are proficient in Python and familiar with ML/LLM tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, vector databases, or retrieval frameworks
  • You are analytical, curious, and motivated to extract insights from complex data
  • You communicate clearly and enjoy working both independently and within a cross‑functional team
  • You are proactive, eager to learn, and excited about AI applied to industrial and service environments

How we work together

For office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
