At our Delfzijl location, more than 275 people work across four independent chemical plants. Here, the para aramid polymer that forms the basis of our high performance Twaron® fiber is produced through multiple complex steps. In a separate installation, we recover solvents for reuse. After drying, the polymer is packaged and transported to Teijin Aramid’s other major production site in Emmen, where it is spun into Twaron®.
