Insify is looking for a smart, ambitious, and relentlessly driven Chief of Staff to join our team. In this high-visibility role, you will report directly to the CEO/Founder and partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure our most critical strategic initiatives are executed with excellence. As COO, you will be the operational force multiplier behind Insify’s growth strategy. You will partner closely with the CEO to translate ambition into execution — building the systems, teams, and financial discipline to scale from a scaleup to a European market leader. Some of what you’ll own:
Operational Excellence at Scale: Design and implement the operational infrastructure to support aggressive growth — from customer operations to claims, compliance, and beyond. You ensure every process is built to last and every team has the systems to win.
European Market Expansion: Own Insify’s entry into new European markets — from country strategy and regulatory navigation to local team building and go-to-market execution. You own the playbook and deliver the results.
Financial Leadership: Own Insify’s financial planning, reporting, and capital allocation. Partner with the CEO and board on fundraising narratives and investor reporting. You bring the rigour that turns growth into a sustainable, scalable business.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team spanning Operations, Finance, and Legal. Recruit the best, set the bar high, and create an environment where exceptional people do their best work.
Strategic Execution: Translate Insify’s long-term vision into quarterly and annual operating plans. Track performance with rigorous metrics, identify bottlenecks early, and mobilise the organisation to execute at pace.
Legal & Compliance Oversight: Work with legal and compliance partners to ensure Insify operates with integrity across every market — navigating insurance regulation, data privacy, and contractual obligations as we scale.
You have 10+ years of senior operating experience, with a track record of scaling a high-growth tech or fintech company through significant revenue growth and geographic expansion.
You have owned P&L — you understand the numbers, drive financial discipline, and know how to allocate capital to maximise impact.
You have led multi-country expansion in Europe, including navigating regulatory complexity and building local teams from scratch.
You are a strong leader who attracts and retains exceptional talent, sets clear expectations, and builds cultures of accountability and excellence.
You operate at both 30,000 feet and ground level — equally comfortable setting a 3-year strategic plan and rolling up your sleeves to unblock an operational bottleneck.
You communicate with clarity and conviction — to the CEO, the board, and the team.
Experience in insurance, fintech, or another regulated industry is a strong plus.
You manage from a distance: We are builders. If you prefer to direct strategy from a boardroom without getting into the detail of execution, this is not the role for you.
You prefer stability over speed: We move fast, make decisions with incomplete information, and adapt constantly. If ambiguity is uncomfortable, you won’t thrive here.
You protect turf: We are a small executive team that operates with radical transparency and collective ownership. If you optimise for your domain over the company’s mission, we won’t be a fit.
A steep learning curve feels daunting: Insurance is complex and our AI-first approach is ambitious. You need to be an aggressive self-learner who can master new domains quickly.
