About your team

You are part of the Supply Chain team within a Division. In the Demand Planner role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving the sales forecasting process in our dynamic organization. You are a key business partner within the Division & collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales & Finance to construct the monthly forecast. You are the central actor that connects the dots between the different functions of the organization. Your critical & analytical eyes are key to developing assumptions & providing recommendations towards the organization.

Your main missions are:

  • Lead & coordinate the sales forecast process for your brand(s)
  • Create short-, medium- and long-term baseline forecast for your brand(s)
  • Coordinate the integration of promotional volumes into the overall forecast together with the sales team
  • Manage launches; support marketing in the forecast construction of new products; determine cannibalization on other products; and follow up the execution
  • Ensure consistency of the overall forecast (baseline, promo & launches) in units & value versus budget, commercial objectives and achieved results
  • Be owner of your KPIs (Forecast accuracy; Service level; Excess & Obsolete); find proactively actions to improve the performance of your brands
  • Optimize catalog for finished goods & other materials
  • Initiate improvement proposals as part of structural improvements in the supply chain process
  • Act as a bridge between the other planning functions and the business when it comes to short-term supply planning related topic

Your Profile

The ideal candidate meets the following description:

  • Master’s degree
  • An experience of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position is a plus
  • Proven affinity with the field 'Supply Chain'; preferably experience within FMCG
  • Fluid in English; Dutch or French is a plus
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP & FuturMaster is a nice-to-have.
  • Proactive and can switch between different management levels
  • Analytically strong, stress resistant, persuasive and good communication skills
  • Agile & flexible to adapt to a VUCA world
  • Positive attitude & problem-solving ability
