Within the wider Technology & Data function, the Technology Training Consultant supports the firm’s adoption of modern technologies, including Generative AI, so that our people can work more efficiently, creatively and responsibly in a rapidly evolving legal landscape.

You are a digital adoption and workflow enablement professional, driving behavioural and workflow change in the firm. An all-round software training specialist, you deliver end-to-end analysis, design, development, delivery and evaluation of blended learning, working with a global team and aligned with the training strategy. You are equally comfortable delivering in‑person, hybrid or fully virtual instructor‑led training, as well as asynchronous, workflow‑ and scenario‑based learning.

As a European specialist, you work alongside peers responsible for other regions and share responsibility for global programmes. You consult with offices in your region to ensure local needs are met in line with global firm and technology training strategies, supported by a network of local trainers. Through close collaboration, support and guidance, you help ensure users across our offices receive the technology training they need.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design modern know‑how and create high‑quality content (written, video/animation and dynamic tools such as OnScreen, Articulate 360 and Camtasia).
  • Deliver best‑in‑class, role‑relevant in‑person and virtual training, synchronous and asynchronous, across multiple legal and non‑legal technologies.
  • Curate and publish content via our platforms (LMS, intranet, ServiceNow), ensuring it is well designed, current and easy to access.
  • Provide training and support to European users and assist other regions as required.
  • Act as Product Training Lead for specific software products in business‑as‑usual and project contexts, working with Product Owners to ensure accurate, strategic messaging and well‑maintained materials.
  • Work with stakeholders and customers across European offices to respond to how users interact with software, identify needs, create targeted materials and improve the user experience.
  • Partner with regional local trainers to operationalise global strategies, analyse regional needs and support skills development to deliver required technology training.
  • Embed Generative AI tools and capabilities into technology training, ensuring safe, responsible and effective use in legal and business workflows.
  • Translate Generative AI use cases into role‑specific, scenario‑based learning for lawyers, secretaries and business teams.
  • Explore emerging Generative AI capabilities and assess their impact on productivity, quality and ways of working.

About you

  • Experience with end‑to‑end technology training design and delivery, both synchronous and asynchronous.
  • Strong instructional design and e‑authoring skills, using a range of tools.
  • Diligent, organised, reliable, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently and leading training curriculum design for projects.
  • A visible and collaborative global team member, sharing insights and best practice.
  • Demonstrable interest in emerging technologies and adult learning, with curiosity and confidence in learning new AI‑enabled tools and turning them into practical guidance.
  • Clear communicator in verbal, written and digital formats.
  • Outcome‑driven mindset, focused on impactful training.
  • Energy and ideas to modernise how we help users understand software, including new formats such as animation and design.
