About this role (O2C Accountant - Intern)

Are you an ambitious individual looking to dive into the world of finance? As our Order to Cash (O2C) Intern, you will join the Operational Finance team to support our European Platform Partner. In this role, you will lead by driving process excellence, deliver by ensuring accurate financial operations, and care by collaborating closely with departments across Europe. This 6-month stage offers a fantastic opportunity to gain a wide understanding of financial aspects in a fast-paced, international environment.

Key components of the position

• Manage the Change of Restaurant Details (CORD) process, including change of ownership and daily updates.
• Action bank forms within our 2-day Service Level Agreement (SLA) and ensure documents align with internal processes.
• Collaborate with the team to manage the weekly "holds list" and ensure accurate weekly payment runs.
• Investigate returned payments to obtain corrected details and minimize the volume of held funds.
• Calculate split payments accurately during restaurant ownership transitions to ensure financial integrity.

What will you bring to the team?

• A proactive mindset with the initiative to find solutions and seek out process improvements.
• Strong communication skills, both written and face-to-face, to effectively partner with the wider business.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling financial documentation and data.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with digital tools like Google Drive.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure while meeting strict operational deadlines.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills like German are considered a plus.
