Join us as a Lead Application Specialist Brewing! Drive innovative, customer-focused projects, manage lab operations, and champion our unique ingredient solutions. You will lead the application laboratory for on-time-in-full application & innovation projects for our customers. You will be working in close collaboration with the R&D department. Your expertise and passion can elevate our beverage industry offerings.

Your key responsibilities

  • Own and lead the Brewing Application Laboratory, ensuring effective day-to-day operations.
  • Perform standard beer analyses in response to service requests for ongoing business, ensuring high data quality, robustness, and full traceability.
  • Perform lab-scale brewing trials to support application and innovation projects, with a focus on enzyme performance throughout the brewing process.
  • Manage chemical and enzyme inventories, including stock control, storage compliance, and replenishment planning; manage ordering and inventory of laboratory equipment; ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and timely repair of existing instruments.
  • Expand and strengthen laboratory capabilities by maintaining/optimizing existing analytical methods, developing new methods when necessary.
  • Be the safety SPOC for the Brewing Application Laboratory in Delft, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards.
