Jobs

As a Junior FP&A Analyst, you will be a vital pillar of the Travix FP&A team, reporting directly to the Corporate FP&A Business Partner. Your mission is to help translate raw data into actionable business insights.

You will assist in the execution of Opex reporting and budgeting, helping to ensure our spending remains aligned with strategic targets. You will support the Month-End Close reporting process and the annual budget cycle, ensuring that our financials are accurate and timely while actively building your planning and analytical skills on the job.

Key Responsibilities

  • Opex Reporting Support: Assist in tracking company-wide Operating Expenses. This includes helping to prepare monthly variance analyses, spotting initial trends, and highlighting potential budget deviations to the senior FP&A team.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting Assistance: Contribute to the preparation of the Annual Operating Budget and monthly rolling forecasts by helping to collect, consolidate, and review future spend and headcount projections from various departments.
  • Month-End Close Contributions: Participate in the monthly closing and reporting process. You will work alongside the Accounting Team to support timely reporting and assist in providing the analytical bridge between accounting entries and business performance.
  • Customer Service Efficiency Project: Conduct research and gather insights from parent company peers to help determine relevant benchmarks for Travix. You will analyse the data and prepare presentations on potential actions to improve CS efficiency.
  • Business Partnering Support: Help inform internal stakeholders (Department Heads and Lead Teams) regarding their financial performance. You will support them in understanding their "actuals vs. budget" reports and assist senior FP&A team members in building business cases.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Assist the team with data extraction, report generation, and the creation of presentations that support decision-making for senior leadership.

What you bring to the table

  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience within financial controlling, accounting, or a high-level FP&A internship.
  • Education: Bachelor in Finance, Accounting or Business Management. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Strong Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a proven ability to work from a transactional level up to a consolidated P&L view.
  • Communication & Influence: Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to interact with, influence, and collaborate at a senior level.
  • Proactive Ownership: A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a curiosity to learn; you naturally challenge the status quo to drive process improvements.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work with different cultures and across different levels of people in an entrepreneurial environment where priorities change rapidly.
  • Tech Savvy: Advanced Excel skills are essential; familiarity with BI tools or ERP systems is a significant plus.
