What are you going to do?

At Nedap, we believe that good healthcare starts with clarity, trust and collaboration. For healthcare professionals, that means quickly understanding who a client is, what is needed and whether they can provide the right care.

As a Java Developer within Ons® Ketenverkeer, you don’t just write code. You contribute to a care chain where information flows smoothly, reliably and meaningfully. In doing so, you help care professionals make confident decisions, so they can focus on what they do best: providing care.

Your responsibilities

Design and implementation

Together with your team, you design and develop solutions that are stable, scalable and maintainable.

Hybrid collaboration

You work independently, while actively collaborating within and outside your team.

Building domain knowledge

You deepen your understanding of the healthcare domain and translate insights into improvements that reduce administrative burden.

Technical direction

You contribute to technical decisions and think about their long-term impact on the product and the team.

Ensuring quality

You help the team make sustainable choices that keep maintenance manageable for a small, autonomous team.

Your team

As a Java Developer you will become part of a close-knit and committed team within the Integration Tribe. Together with one other development team, you form a group of around twelve developers, supported by UX specialists and partner managers.

We work hybrid. On Mondays, we are together at the office. The rest of the week, you decide, in consultation with the team, the right balance between home and office. Our culture is open and collaborative: we build software that truly matters, make decisions together and enjoy how we work.

What's in it for you?

Our offer

As a Java Developer at Nedap, you will make a valuable contribution to our goal: making people happier and more successful in their professional lives. The salary range for this role is between € 3.800 and € 5.100 gross per month based on full-time employment (38 hours) and depends on relevant knowledge and experience. In addition to your salary, you are entitled to a thirteenth month, a good pension scheme, and profit sharing with the opportunity to become a shareholder of Nedap.

At Nedap, everything revolves around trust and autonomy. That’s why, along with your colleagues, you decide on your own working hours and vacation days to maintain a healthy work-life balance. We also highly value personal and professional growth. You will receive a comprehensive introduction, and we encourage you to continuously develop yourself.

Required skills

We are looking for a Java Developer who looks beyond the ticket on the board. Someone who wants to understand why something is built and for whom. You feel at home in a team where trust, autonomy and humor go hand in hand.

You recognize yourself in the following:

  • Seniority: Several years of experience as a software developer (medior level).
  • Programming Language: Experience with Java and/or Kotlin.
  • Spring: Experience with Spring.
  • Vue: Experience with Vue is a plus.
  • FHIR: Knowledge of FHIR is a plus.
  • Working Mindset: You work independently, actively seek collaboration and make well-founded technical decisions that contribute to a maintainable product.
