Are you a developer who thrives on building solutions from the ground up? Do you want to make a real impact in healthcare while enjoying the agility of a start-up and the stability of an established company? Then let’s grab a coffee (or tea).

As a Full-Stack Developer on the MediKIT team, you’ll create solutions that support and relieve GPs and their assistants so they can focus on providing care. MediKIT is a web-based SaaS Electronic Health Record (EHR) and is part of Nedap. This gives the team the speed and flexibility of a start-up combined with the stability and resources of a well-established organisation.

You’ll work on technology that has an immediate impact on healthcare professionals. Your focus is on rapidly delivering functional applications, with time-to-market as a major driver. That means taking a pragmatic approach and solving problems end-to-end—without striving for perfect code or architecture.

What are you going to do?

Your responsibilities

Back-end development

You develop back-end components for the MediKIT platform, with a strong focus on robustness and scalability.

Full-stack development

You work across the full stack, switching between back-end and front-end to rapidly deliver functional applications.

Multidisciplinary collaboration

You collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to develop innovative solutions that align with the needs of general practitioner practices.

Exploration and implementation

You explore and implement new technologies that contribute to the optimization of MediKIT.

Efficient delivery

You ensure the fast and effective delivery of new features, without getting entangled in unnecessary complexity.

Your team

As a Full-Stack Developer you’ll be part of the MediKIT team, a dynamic group within Nedap that blends start-up energy with the strength of a large organisation and ready to scale up. You’ll work closely with fellow developers, UX designers and domain experts to keep improving the platform.

What's in it for you?

Our offer

As a Full-stack Developer at Nedap, you make a valuable contribution to our mission: helping people become happier and more successful in their professional lives.

In addition to your salary, you’ll receive a thirteenth month’s pay, a solid pension plan, and profit sharing with the opportunity to become a Nedap shareholder.

At Nedap, everything revolves around trust and autonomy. That’s why, along with your colleagues, you decide on your own working hours and vacation days to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

We also place great importance on both personal and professional growth. You’ll receive a thorough introduction and are encouraged to keep developing yourself throughout your career.

Required skills

As a Full-Stack Developer you’ll have a major impact on the success of the MediKIT team. It’s important that you:

  • Work experience: You have at least seven years of professional experience as Developer. You possess solid back-end expertise yet feel comfortable working across the full stack.
  • Self-starting: You are self-starting and eager to learn, able to devise solutions independently.
  • Pragmatical: You work pragmatically and solution-oriented, rather than getting lost in theoretical perfection.
  • Start-up: You thrive in a start-up environment where initiative and autonomy are essential.
  • Technologies: You are familiar with TypeScript, React and Python or willing to master these technologies quickly.
