Embedded Software Engineer (V.I.E) – Netherlands – ALTEN Netherlands

The Position

As an Embedded Software Engineer, your main tasks will include:

• Developing and maintaining embedded software in C/C++
• Implementing and optimizing real-time systems (RTOS)
• Performing memory optimization and performance tuning
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Writing technical documentation for long-term maintainability

Your Profile

• Under or at least 28 years old
• French or EU nationality (if EU, you have lived in France for at least 3 months)
• No previous residence in The Netherlands
• Minimum education level: Bachelor’s Degree
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience with C, C++, Embedded C, RTOS Knowledge
• Fluent in English
• Excellent communication skills in an international context
• Client-facing attitude and professional presentation
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new environments

Working conditions

• Possibility of hybrid working
• Monthly net VIE allowance of approximately €3,200
• 30 vacation days
• Pension scheme without personal contribution
• Paid health insurance without personal contribution
• Relocation compensation (money for plane/train ticket to relocate)
