About the role
As Senior HR Business Partner (Senior Manager HR Netherlands) for our Taste, Texture & Health (TTH) Business Unit in Delft, you are the strategic people partner to local TTH leaders and a key enabler of the TTH transformation. You shape and execute the People agenda aligned with business priorities, elevate leadership and team effectiveness, and ensure flawless delivery of the HR cycle. You combine strategic partnering with hands-on execution, data-driven decision support, and change leadership in a dynamic, scientific and multicultural environment.
Your key responsibilities
Strategic HR Partner for Business & Organizational Development
- Translate TTH and company strategy into the site People agenda.
- Lead workforce planning, organizational design, and capability building.
- Provide strategic HR insights to guide decisions on structure, investments, and priorities.
Talent, Leadership & Culture Development
- Oversee the full talent cycle (succession, critical roles, talent identification, development planning).
- Strengthen leadership pipelines and coach leaders on performance, team development, wellbeing, and engagement.
- Foster an inclusive, high‑performance, and psychologically safe culture.
HR Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Own delivery of the annual HR cycle (objective setting, performance reviews, talent processes, pay cycle, STI).
- Ensure data accuracy, process reliability, documentation quality, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with HR Operations to secure a consistent employee experience from hiring to exit.
People Analytics
- Analyze people data to identify risks and opportunities.
- Convert insights into evidence‑based recommendations and decision scenarios.
- Strengthen data literacy among managers.
Transformation & Change Leadership
- Co‑lead local elements of TTH transformation programs.
- Guide teams through change, ensure role clarity and adoption of operating models.
- Share best practices across sites.
Strategic Projects & Light People Leadership
- Lead prioritized People projects (capability development, pipeline programs, data/process enhancements).
- When applicable, manage or coach a trainee/analyst or small project teams.

You bring
- 5–7+ years progressive HRBP experience in complex, matrixed, and fast-moving environments; comfort with scientific/technical organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree required; HR qualification or Master’s degree is a plus.
- Strategic and business acumen – you connect people implications to business priorities, simplify complexity, and make sound, forward‑looking judgments.
- Talent, performance & employee relations expertise – you spot and develop talent, support succession and performance, and apply fairness, confidentiality, and balanced judgment in employee relations.
- A strong sense of accountability – you take initiative, speak up, and see things through. You are responsible and focus on what matters
- Strong communication & influencing ability – you distill complex topics clearly, adapt to scientific and multicultural audiences, and operate with a confident professional presence.
- Change agility & project leadership – you navigate ambiguity well, design and guide transitions, build adoption, and lead projects with structured planning, risk management, and delivery focus.
- A collaborative spirit & Dutch context expertise – you work seamlessly with the HR team, Centers of Expertise, peers, and stakeholders across countries, share best practices, and bring preferred proficiency in Dutch language and Dutch labour law to operate effectively in the local context.
