Your Mission

As a Fashion Expert within our Luxury Department, you play a key role in curating high-quality auctions that attract engaged bidders while upholding the highest standards of trust and transparency. Combining strong product expertise with commercial awareness, you ensure every listing meets our expectations for authenticity, quality, and buyer appeal.

Specialising in Luxury Pre-Owned and Brand Bags, you curate compelling weekly fashion auctions that resonate with a global audience. Your knowledge of luxury craftsmanship, brand positioning, and market trends helps shape attractive selections that drive growth, particularly within the European and Japanese markets. Through your expertise, you contribute to strengthening our reputation as a trusted destination for premium fashion.

What You’ll Do

  • Evaluate submissions: Review item descriptions, images, and details provided by sellers. Provide expert feedback and fair market value estimates.
  • Curate auctions: Approve and edit listings to create compelling weekly fashion auctions that attract enthusiastic bidders.
  • Build seller relationships: Engage with sellers in Japan, guiding them to create strong listings and ensuring a smooth selling experience.
  • Expand the market: Identify and onboard new high-quality sellers through your professional network, trade fairs, and fashion communities.
  • Ensure quality & compliance: Maintain Catawiki’s standards of transparency, authenticity, and trust across all listings.

Collaborate cross-functionally:

  • Support the Customer Service team with expert input in case of disputes.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to drive visibility and bidder engagement.
  • Contribute to strategies for growing Catawiki’s bags category.
