YoooM is dedicated to create the best communication technology for empowering healthcare organisations and their clients.
In our latest product MiiND, we develop a total package for people with a severe psychiatric disorder (psychosis, schizophrenia, dementia, etc). These people have a hard time connecting with other people because of their lack of social capabilities and spend almost all of their time in their homes without work, friends or family. Even doing grocery shopping is already too much social contact for these people. With our tool we allow them to sit at home and still be in contact with other people just like them to form a sort of peer community. This way they can gradually train their social competence and lead more meaningful lives.
