Here at Metail, we solve two fundamental needs. For retailers; an affordable and efficient process of eCommerce model photography. And for consumers; the ability to confidently try on clothes online.

Here at Metail, we solve two fundamental needs. For retailers; an affordable and efficient process of eCommerce model photography. And for consumers; the ability to confidently try on clothes online.

Our Composed Photography technology saves the retailer time and money on online model photography without compromising on image quality and impact. Models only need to be shot once, whilst the retailers collection is shot separately on our custom-made mannequins. Our technology then dresses the model in the clothing as if she was photographed wearing it.

Our Metail Experience technology allows customers to try on garments online true to size and in any outfit combination. We make it easy and fun to discover new clothes, while providing the user with a personalised buying journey.

Metail’s patented technology captures two unique datasets at scale: human body size and shape, and 3D garment digitisation, which powers Metail’s ability to make the world your wardrobe.

Working across the UK, Europe, Asia and Australia, we have proven that ‘try-ons’ improve user engagement by 3x and lifts sales by 30%.

Metail has raised $20m, employs 60 people including 10 PhDs and is a global strategic partner of IBM. Metail's largest investor is clothing manufacturing giant TAL, who produce one in six men's shirts in the US.
