  1. About The Future of Work Symposium

    On March 25th 2019, one of the largest student symposia ever will take place at the Erasmus University Rotterdam: The Future of Work Symposium. The world is in transition in many different ways. Digitization, artificial intelligence and sustainability are every day’s business. Sander Schimmelpenninck (Editor-in-Chief Quote) is the host of this event and will ask partners from e.g. McKinsey & Company and Philips, critical, interesting and funny questions about these developments. Everyone is welcome, so you can also attend the symposium without applying for a workshop. Reserve your spot via Eventbrite:

    Prior to this Symposium, interactive workshops with students and top companies will take place, which are connected to the theme The Future of Work. As the workshops will be held at the same time in the morning, you can apply for only one of the workshops by sending your CV before 14 March 23.59. You can apply by visiting the separate workshop pages (see the links below) and click on the 'apply' button, a motivation is not required but optional, do not forget to include your CV. You will hear at least 7 days prior to the symposium day whether you have been selected to the workshop of your choice.

    Are negotiations, hostile takeovers, leveraged buyouts and public offers phrases that spark your interest? Then come and meet ING Corporate Finance at the M&A Workshop during the R.S.C./R.V.S.V. Symposium on 25 March 2019.
    The Workshop will take you through a public-to-private transaction that occurred in the Netherlands. Participants are divided into multiple potential buyer groups and will work together to attempt to take a listed company private. Workshop materials are in English, so Dutch and International students are equally welcome to apply.
