  1. About Ekster

    About Ekster

We are a small start-up that designs, produces and markets leather goods with integrated Bluetooth trackers. Ekster Wallets introduced RFID blocking smart wallets with the fastest card access experience on the market. Our two-way tracking feature prevents you from ever losing your wallet or phone again. In december, we opened our headquarters in the Rotterdam Science Towers. On the 11th floor we have our own office with all facilities at our convenience. We have a second office located in New York on Broadway.

Our Team consists of three Dutch partners with a good set of brainpower, international backgrounds and high levels of motivation. Our personal struggles with the products offered in the market today has motivated us to develop the perfect wallet. Currently, Olivier Momma and Rick Scharnigg are based in Rotterdam at the HQ of Ekster Wallets and Richard works from our office in New York. We are a very flexible team and we communicate in a variety of different platforms.

During our Kickstarter campaign we exceeded our goal by 2200% and we are currently live on Indiegogo. As we are experiencing hyper growth, we are looking for “the best of the best” to join our small and young team. Feel free to come by or drop us an e-mail!

We've had a crazy journey so far. We reached 2200% on Kickstarter in 45 days and are currently funded over $420,000 with Kickstarter and Indiegogo combined. Over the next couple weeks we have very exciting things planned. We will be traveling to our manufacturer in China several times, we will have big investor rounds, we're working on some collaborations with big brands, and we're constantly in touch with the media to get the word out! We've gained unimaginable amounts of experience from this journey and are excited to add a new member to the team soon!
