Your day-to-day: - Lead execution of new product launches or modified products at affiliate level in close cooperation with all involved departments, functions, affiliates. - Consolidate all information related to new projects and product launches at affiliate level and timely inform all involved departments to define the terms and resources needed. - Provide necessary feasibility studies/checks, plan, coordinate and organize execution. - Analyze projects at initial stage to define potential risks and find solution aligned with Innovative & Initiative Management (I&IM) Pillar principles via OPEN+ standards of working. - Check newly developed documents (e-DDA; GTPs, Color Standards) and provide Product Development Department and Project Leader with information on test results. - Plan, organize and coordinate the process of prototypes production and testing of improved stem, cut filler, filters, cigarettes and packaging in order to assure compliance to local standards and PMI requirements to achieve competitive quality of new/changed product at the market. - Plan in a timely manner and carry out new product certification activities in accordance with legislative and technical requirements. - Challenge all standard processes and products in order to propose productivity initiatives. - Lead initiatives in order to improve the quality standards of products. - Ensure the improvement and/or maintenance of local Quality Management System (QMS) with related procedures in alignment with QMS Compliance and Central Quality. - Provide technical Quality support and expertise in order to improve material, products and Quality performances. - Provide support for the review/update of manufacturing process characterization and other documents when required. - Promote and apply all rules concerning PMI Quality, environment, health and safety. - Participate in the creation/review of procedures, work instructions and other Quality Documents that are required. - Consistently apply OPEN+ standards of working (Q and I&IM Pillar knowledge would be an asset). Who we're looking for: - University/Master degree in Biological sciences, Physical sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent education. - Have at least 2 years of experience in Quality / Manufacturing departments in tobacco, food, pharmaceutical or similar industry. - Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. - Well-developed IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SAP, PLM), Project Management and Internal Consulting skills. - Knowledge on Quality tools, I&IM and Quality Pillar DMSs & SWPs, root cause analysis, analytical skills, statistical tool knowledge. - Have strong communication & interpersonal skills, collaborative, a team player, customer oriented, a quick learner and have attention for detail.
