DESCRIPTION

Mews Systems is seeking a Global Events Manager in London to develop and implement a dynamic events strategy to increase brand exposure, grow relevance and engage with new customers.

Your Mission:

Strategy:

  • Identify and proactively seek out external events/ experiences which enable the business to engage with new customers and encourage consideration of the Brand to end in purchase
  • Create and deliver meaningful, perception-changing Brand events that deepen the emotional connection between the business and consumers to support the recruitment of new customers
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure events are fully integrated to maximize reach potential and also create buzz and excitement
  • Responsible for keeping abreast of competitor events and activities to implement ideas/ best practice
  • Budget management & control
  • Track all event, partnership & sampling project costs ensuring within budget
  • Manage evaluation and identify opportunities
  • Analyse activity and provide post event evaluation against set KPIs
  • Ensure partnership and sampling campaigns can be tracked and measured to deliver data driven insights
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to obtain data driven insights to understand impact and success of events/ campaigns

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in both organising and managing events/ multiple events
  • Experience in engaging in stakeholders to deliver high profile, premium events
  • Experience of managing external agencies
  • Some previous experience running above & below the line marketing campaigns
  • Experience of collating and analysing information to determine success and insights of event
  • Proven budgetary control experience
  • Degree educated in a relevant discipline (i.e. Marketing & Events, Operations, PR & Communications)
  • Strong and current knowledge of retail brands and execution of in-store events and the external promotion of
  • Project management and able to react and resolve issues on the ground
  • Strong and current knowledge of festivals, events and competitor brand partnerships, as well as media titles and their communication platforms
  • Solid understanding of using social media platforms e.g. Twitter, Snapchat & Instagram
  • Ideas generator with ability to coalesce off line events onto social platforms to drive customer connection
  • Highly organised, with good attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to network and foster relationships
  • Self-motivated
