Event Sales Executive

Flagship Stores

The Role:

To drive all event sales for the Flagship Stores; developing and maintaining new and existing relationships with external business and customer base. Increasing footfall and revenue into the flagship stores through successful commercial events and driving loyalty B2B. As an Event Sales Executive, you will have a limitless, proactive approach; utilising the resources we have to execute unique, profitable events.

The Responsibilities:

  • To consistently achieve, and look to exceed, personal quarterly sales targets; namely generating additional GBP revenue each month across boutiques as agreed with Area Manager - Flagships
  • Initiate and drive business development communication across all available channels with external businesses on a daily basis to generate B2B meets to discuss eventing opportunities
  • Attend a targeted number of B2B meetings on a monthly basis to generate new business and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
  • Demonstrate a logical approach to business development potential leads; ensuring to capture and track ongoing communication with hot and warm leads
  • Source and attend networking events within the sector and with key partners
  • Drive seasonal launch events and other NPD launches, including Christmas gifting, utilising corporate connections to drive footfall to the boutiques and generate increased revenue
  • Work alongside the Area Manager and the CRM Team at Magic Office to understand the NPD launch calendar and discuss any additional support needed to reach target in boutiques and deliver on elements of the boutique(s) strategy to push NPD through business development
  • Weekly reporting of sales pledges and movements (for the week ahead) to the Area Manager together with daily end of day de-briefs. Track personal performance month by month for collaborative review, demonstrating productivity, making the most of every minute of every day
  • Work collaboratively with the Business Managers within boutiques to understand current monthly performance against target. Deliver eventing in order to assist them in exceeding store targets; namely driving or re-directing events'traffic to assist the door as appropriate
  • Consult to the Business Manager on quarterly eventing plan, being a sound board and collaborating in order to invent innovation around eventing and recommending levels of resource for varying types of eventing
  • Create brand awareness through the sharing and demonstration of strong product knowledge with employees and external customers, consistently demonstrating CT customer experience by being a brand advocate
  • Manage customer and client queries efficiently, using sound judgement and achieving positive outcomes, escalating to the Area Manager where necessary
