About SkyNRG

SkyNRG is driving the development of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to speed the aviation industry's transition to net-zero emissions. As part of our growing People & Culture team, we’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic People & Culture Intern to help us attract top talent and foster an inclusive, diverse workplace. If you’re ready to learn, grow, and contribute to a meaningful cause, this internship is the perfect opportunity for you!

About the role

SkyNRG is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated People & Culture intern to join our team. As a People & Culture intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic, rapidly growing work environment. You will be involved in various People and Culture processes and projects, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of different aspects of the People and Culture field.

Your responsibilities:

  • Get hands-on with HR essentials by helping prepare and organize employee contracts, addendums, and other key HR documents
  • Learn the full employee lifecycle by assisting with onboarding and offboarding activities
  • Supporting new hire onboarding - think preparing welcome kits, coordinating Day 1 activities, and ensuring a smooth start
  • Make an impact on People Ops projects by pitching in on ad hoc initiatives, process improvements, and other HR projects that keep our team running smoothly
  • Recruitment for Internships and Junior Roles: Take full ownership of the process to attract, assess, and hire our next group of interns and junior professionals. You’ll gain hands-on experience in managing job postings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.

Your profile

As a growing company in a rapidly developing industry, we are looking for someone who likes to play an active role in building out our business and is not afraid of change. Ideally, you recognize yourself in the following:

  • You must be enrolled in a University program for the entire duration of your internship.
  • Currently pursuing a relevant degree at the Bachelor or Master level, such as Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or Work and Organizational Psychology.
  • Remain a student for the duration of the internship.
  • Strong interest in the People & Culture field and a desire to gain practical experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Proactive, independent, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written, with Dutch as a plus.

Your skills

  • Detail oriented/attention to detail - can spot small details/mistakes and can correct them in a timely manner
  • Communication - strong verbal and written communication for both within our P&C team and to work with different stakeholders (e.g. contracts, payroll assistance, writing email correspondence, updating company newsletter)
  • Strong organizational skills – can keep things organized and work effectively
  • Time management – can adapt to ad-hoc requests as needed, with strong prioritization skills
  • Data oriented – someone with an analytical mindset that can work with data on a basic level to support with data analysis if needed
  • Creative/engaged - has good ideas on how we can improve our people processes!
Studies have shown that women and members of minority groups are less likely to apply for a job unless they meet every single requirement. If you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification, we encourage you to apply anyway. We are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace.

What we offer

  • Working for a BCorp-certified organization.
