Position Summary

Role and Responsibilities

What will this role achieve?

  • To communicate and implement sales strategy for the TV/AV category within the Independent category
  • To manage and develop TV/AV business to achieve company and territory targets
  • Develop a partnership approach with accounts beyond the traditional buyer and seller relationship
  • Deliver accurate forecasting against agreed marketing plans
  • Achieve set turnover and share targets

What will be your key deliverables?

  • Achievement of specific sales target
  • Follow channelization strategy
  • Budget planning and management - SOA/PP
  • Work with channel team to deliver marketing excellence
  • Close liaison with field team to deliver joined up approach
  • Work with Finance team to ensure account is managed within strict Samsung Finance guidelines
  • Liaise with Service team to ensure Service guidelines are adhered to
  • Regular field visits to stores across the south east
  • Maintain product knowledge at expert level using internal training resources
  • Complete weekly performance and turnover reports for accounts in the requested format
  • Create and supply presentation material or business background reports upon request
  • Assist colleagues when required by covering absences and completing essential tasks
  • When managing promotional requests, ensure lines of authorisation are strictly followed
  • Create and deliver upon an annual development plan set in accordance with Samsung training and development regulations

What do we need for this role?

Experience required:

  • Full account management experience
  • Experience in forecasting
  • Proven experience of strong relationship building skills
  • Proven track record in sales

Required Soft skills:

  • Good time management
  • Understand of Local and generic marketing implementation
  • Excellent communication skills including Excel and Powerpoint
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong negotiator
  • Must be a good team player and have the ability to work towards team goals within the divisional strategy
  • Ability to stay away to cover full region
