nhow Amsterdam RAI is a new social and multicultural hub for globetrotters, business travelers, and Amsterdam locals. The iconic building, facing the various wind directions, symbolizes the melting pot the city of Amsterdam has always been and continues to be. The impressive 91-metre-tall building is in the Zuidas district, right next to the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre, offering its guests a dynamic headquarters and home base.

We are looking for a passionate, organized, and driven intern. You will be supporting our People & Culture Manager as well as the Head of Departments with a large variety of different tasks across different disciplines of HR. The largest part of your internship will focus on recruitment, internal communication to the teams, and reporting. You will also be involved in various people-related projects and initiatives such as organizing team social events, recruitment events, co-training the orientation training, and much more. All in all, these are very versatile tasks that give you an opportunity to learn and understand how the 'people-related' operation within a hotel works. And keep in mind, we are not constrained by traditional approaches, we are not afraid of trying new approaches and you will be given a space to shine and put your ideas into work.

What part will you play in creating the unforgettable?

  • Maintaining vacancy websites and adjusting vacancy texts
  • Evaluating incoming applications and conducting job interviews
  • Organizing presentations and tours for hospitality schools
  • Taking care of onboarding and offboarding
  • Participate in executing various training
  • Keeping personnel administration up to date

What makes you the perfect fit for this bold journey?

  • You are currently enrolled for a relevant HBO/Bachelors study such as Human Resources or Hospitality Management
  • Knowledge of the hotel world or hospitality is a must
  • You have a professional command of English, Dutch is a strong advantage
  • You consider yourself to be above average in personal planning and organization
  • You are proactive, accurate and enjoy challenges
  • You can work well with the MS Office applications such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • You are flexible and not afraid to take on new projects, even if it is out of your comfort zone
  • You are available for a minimum of 6 months
