To support us on our journey we’re looking to hire a People Officer within the People Team to help support the People Partner function.

The WorldFirst People Team play a key role in creating a company who develop amazing people, who achieve amazing things. The role will be responsible for providing HR support primarily to the People Partner function, you will be one of the first points of contact for all our employees. This role will suit someone who is an experienced HR Administrator or has a strong administration background with exposure or interest in HR. The ideal candidate will be friendly, approachable, amazingly organised with strong attention to detail.

Key responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact for all People related queries, being the friendly face of the People team and providing an exceptional level of service to all our WorldFirsters.
  • Full ownership and accountability for the on-boarding process for all our new starters creating a world class employee experience; including pre-employment checks, administration of all employee documentation, management of PeopleHR, our HRIS, communication with new WorldFirsters pre-joining and running first day welcome meeting.
  • Co-ordination and processing of employee documents throughout the employee lifecycle as required; e.g. promotion and pay rise confirmations, changes to contracts, references, keeping org charts updated, day to day management of HRIS and keeping all People documents updated.
  • Management of leaver process, including all admin and conducting exit interviews.
  • Liaising with Managers and People Partners during employee’s probation period, working alongside the People Partners to manage any probation extensions.
  • Co-ordination of company induction day including inviting speakers and employees, organising resources and co-facilitation of the session.
  • Full ownership of all employee benefits, ensuring current offering is fit for purpose, managing relationships with suppliers, developing creative ideas for new benefits and promoting benefits to employees at the appropriate time.
  • Guiding all expectant parents through our fantastic parental leave policies including administration of all documents and being point of contact for any questions before, during and after new additions arrive.
