About the Business Unit

The Distributor & Export (D&E) Business Unit is in charge of the Kraft Heinz business in more than 20 European markets, amongst which the Nordics, Baltics, Hungary, Czech, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Israel and others. It is the growth engine of Kraft Heinz’s European business with its fast-developing business and challenging year over year growth targets. Joining the D&E team, you will be joining a family of highly entrepreneurial, ambitious and passionate team players, dedicated to reaching our goal of being the BEST food company, growing a BETTER world.

About the Position

We have an excellent opportunity available for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. You will report into the Commercial Head South East and you'll responsible for managing the JBPs (Joint Business Plans) with local partners (Distributors and KAs supplied directly) as well as delivering business growth via local tenders in the markets of responsibility. You completely own the relationship with the distributors, ensure the budget delivery, drive growth and you're a true ambassador for our brands and products. The role will engage in a variety of tasks including sales, successful launching of KraftHeinz products, forecast, coordination, strategic planning, relationship management, negotiation and most of all, development and drive growth opportunities. This role will require business trips 1-2 times per month. Your (mean) focus will be on Malta, Cyprus & Gibraltar. This position is based in the Benelux HQ in Amsterdam (South As).

This position is based in the Netherlands, Amsterdam. However, we're open to discuss the possibility being located in Malta or Cyprus. If you desire this, please communicate clearly in your application.

In brief, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivery of annual sales objectives
  • Distributor Management
  • Driving growth opportunities / listings via tenders
  • Ownership of the volume forecasts
  • Pricing implementation

Qualifications

“Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.”

  • A Bachelor’s degree holder (preferably in Business or Marketing). A Master’s degree will be considered as a plus
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar/relevant position in Sales/Business Development
  • Experience with Distributors, Local Tenders and East European Countries is a massive advantage
  • We’re looking for a person with a genuine passion and interest for sales management and business development
  • Language skills: fluent in English both written and oral, a third language is an advantage
  • Other skills: Proficiency in MS word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential
