Are you looking for an opportunity to be part of an enthusiastic, progressive and forward thinking multi-professional team, committed to providing the highest possible standard of care and support to children and their families?

Can you deliver a high standard of care which makes a real difference to the lives of children and young people with life-threatening conditions and their families?

Are you a highly motivated care assistant who thinks that going the extra mile at work is the norm?

Are you looking for a new challenge and wanting to develop your skills and knowledge?

If you answered a resounding YES to these questions, then come and find out more about EACH.

We are keen to hear about your personal and professional career aspirations and to meet with you to talk about and show you what exciting opportunities are available across EACH.

We can answer any questions you have about the working environment, skills required and the continued professional development in providing children’s hospice care.

We are currently recruiting for care assistants for our hospice service at Quidenham in Norfolk (relocation due June 2019 to our new hospice, the nook, near Poringland, Norwich). We are also looking for senior care assistants at our Milton Hospice.

Great candidates who may not be currently working with children but have previous relevant experience and are interested in refreshing their skills are welcomed to apply.

This role will involve shift work (including long days) to cover 24 hours / 7 days per week / 365 days per year.

We provide care and support for all family members in our hospice buildings and in families’ homes. We also often ‘in-reach’ schools and hospitals to work alongside our statutory sector colleagues.

The hospice environment offers free parking, tranquil surroundings and subsidised meals. As a values driven organisation, with a national and international reputation, we offer our staff a competitive package (including NHS pension if already contributing), extensive development and training opportunities, generous annual leave entitlement and a flexible work-life balance.

We offer flexible working opportunities including long shifts, part-time and flexible working patterns, such as weekend working only.

EACH is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.

Please indicate your interest by sending your CV to workforus@each.org.uk

If you would like to find out more about what it’s like to work with us, to discuss any of these posts further, or would just like to come and have a look around any of our hospices, please contact the relevant Service Manager:

We offer care and support for children and young people with life-threatening conditions and support families across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. Our care and support is tailored for the needs of all family members and delivered where the families wish – in their own home, at hospital, in the community or at one of three hospices in Ipswich, Milton and Quidenham.
