Your Role

As a Financial Solutions Business Executiveyou will be responsible for supporting our sales team with flexible finance arrangements for our customers, fulfillment of contracts and working closely with our finance partner community.

What you'll be doing

  • Support the Sales Team with quotes, calls, and proposals to position and explain finance options to our customers and become a trusted advisor to the account.
  • Assist with relationships and commercial agreements with our financial services partners.
  • Produce performance reports for internal and/or partner use.
  • Liaise with our Finance Team to ensure successful fulfilment of agreements, and work closely with our finance partner community.
  • Training and awareness for the Sales Teams on the benefits of financial services offerings.
  • Create and manage quotations on partner portals to maximise internal reward.
  • Manage the entire life cycle of an agreement – pre-sales, post-sales, renewal.
  • Influence Softcat proposals with creative and innovative approaches to customer finance.
  • Maintain an accurate opportunity pipeline.
  • Work with internal resources including (but not limited to): sales management, marketing, vendor managers and the Finance Team, to win (and grow) business.
  • Maximise the value of financial services to both our customers and Softcat.

What we need from you

  • Degree educated or relevant previous experience
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships – with customers and partners.
  • Articulate – ability to present information clearly, persuasively and elegantly
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Commercial acumen – ability to demonstrate value to customers
  • Negotiation experience – commercial and contractual
  • Consultative selling skills, with the ability to identify customer position and requirements
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet expectations for fast turn-around times
  • Able to work independently, as well as part of a team, to achieve results
  • Ability to develop marketing campaigns with partners
