We are currently recruiting for a Data Analytics Officer for our Data Management Office in Amsterdam. MUFG Bank Europe N.V. Your Impact at MUFG

Reporting to the Head of Data Management, you will support data management by seeking effective business solutions for new regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities include:

• Contribution to key initiatives including data and reporting requirements
• Power BI Report development
• Analyze data and display it in reports to aid decision-making
• Use SQL queries for optimal results

In this role, you will:

• Determine business needs and translate them into technical specifications
• Connect data sources, import data, and transform data for business intelligence
• Develop tabular and multidimensional models compatible with data warehouse standards
• Collaborate with teams to design and build the database model
• Ensure traceability of requirements through to deliverables
• Assist in root cause analysis for data quality issues
• Understand key data elements and their applications

Skills and Experience

To be successful in the role, you need:

• Proficiency in Power BI development: dashboard creation (visualization) and backend (DAX)
• Thorough understanding of optimal data modeling and visualization, with cloud databases
• Analytical thinking for converting data into relevant reports
• Knowledge of relational databases including SQL
• Knowledge of entity relationship diagrams and Kimball modeling
• Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in training end users on report usage

Technical Knowledge

• Advanced Power BI experience
• Familiarity with Informatica systems
• Advanced ability to read and write SQL code
• Competent use of business analysis techniques
