Are you a collaborative Sales Activation Specialist with a passion for customer promotions and activations? We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our team of sales managers. Reach your full potential as Sales Activation Specialist

You will become part of the global B&S sales team in Duty Free and Travel Retail within a collaborative environment where innovative ideas and shared objectives drive success. Your canvas extends beyond traditional sales activation as you craft and execute activation & promotion strategies, making a substantial impact on our results with brands at customers.

As a Sales Activation Specialist you:

  • Have a lot of contact with customers
  • Connect between brand owners, sales, purchase and marketing about further opportunities for volume and value growth to (over)achieve business objectives.
  • Identify areas for growth and leverage data analytics to refine customer promotion strategies.
  • Define and execute a full year promotional strategy (e.g. discounts, GWP) for the brand in alignment with sales, marketing and the brandowner, based on brand specific guidelines and insights.
  • Set up and execute promotions with customers and analyze sell out data as key identifier for success
  • Provide guidance and regular updates to brand owners on learnings and successes of activations.
  • Will oversee and report on brand promotional budgets and their spending status with customers.

This is you

You are self-reliant with an entrepreneurial mindset and have the ability to not only decipher data, but also drive strategic decisions based on the data. You are result-oriented, sales minded and have a laser focus on achieving targets. With your communication, interpersonal skills and organizational abilities, you have the ability to work in a fast-paced multinational environment with cross functional and cross-country stakeholders.

You:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in trademarketing, business or a related field
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in retail or in a FMCG brandowner
  • Have demonstrated experience in effectively setting up activations and promotions with customers based on sell out data.
  • Have strong analytical skills, you will analyze data and define data-driven actions.
  • Are comfortable to report and communicate results to stakeholders.
  • Have the ability to travel and visit customers
  • Have a strong and proven track record of project management in a fast-paced environment to secure timely delivery of commitments.
  • Are fluent in English (mandatory) and Dutch (preferably).
  • Plus when experienced in Global DutyFree and Travel Retail and / or trademarketing.

  • A competitive salary in line with your experience, plus a yearly fixed Christmas bonus and a performance dependent bonus
