This role has been designated as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

Responsibilities in the role...

  • Real Estate Strategy discussions, own and deliver capital projects on time, within budget with world class quality. This role is required to have strong knowledge on corporate interior design to deliver Hybrid working environment by team up with external consultants

  • This role is to oversee all aspects of EMEA projects end-to-end and act as the second in command on behalf of WDPM Regional Manager. The professional skill set must include the ability to run multiple projects at the same time in supporting fast-track dynamic. An open mindset on managing conflict and challenges would be the keys to win; and the ability to manage language barriers & cultural boundaries are keys to success.

  • The candidate should demonstrate the ability to set ambitious timelines, challenge status quo, and the ability to demonstrate driving for better. The candidate will work with external partners & internal team members, stakeholders and monitor the entire progress throughout project life cycle.

  • Prepare reports for exec. management regarding status of project in timely basis. The candidate should have solid real estate business sense & financial knowledge; strong leadership and excellent communication skills; and the ability to handle complex / larger project scopes and fast track timelines in parallel.

  • The candidate must have demonstrated success program / project management in corporate real estate organizations. The candidate will be reporting to APJ / EMEA Regional Manager of WDPM to ensure all deliverables fall within the applicable scope and meet leadership expectations. He or she will be required to drive and lead workplace solution and communicate with internal / external stakeholders to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and meet GW expectations.

  • The candidate must have experience working in a similar corporate environment delivering workplace design and fit out construction. He or she requires to own design and construction management with solid know-how on MEP and technologies. Experience of delivering test lab and data center is also a required criterion.

  • Own and responsible for monitoring capital investment for projects. Able to handle >$10M projects and desire to win.

  • Strong Financial and procurement knowledge to attract best working partners and able to deliver savings and manage flash vs. actual in timely manner.

  • Understand workplace future trend and able to ensure the workplace design and fit out are meeting most recent regulatory and compliance.

  • Drives decision making process for issues outside established guidelines. Make quick and bold decisions to demonstrate the SPEED.

  • Develops project procurement strategy and sets budget to demonstrate best value for the company. Acts as a project owner within area of expertise, interaction with RES&T & WS as a trust advisor.

  • Interactions with internal stakeholders include global / regional / site levels in nature. Flexibility to manage time zone challenge is a must.

  • Lead discussions and participates in negotiations with code officials and community leaders/groups. Provides technical consulting and leadership to business partners and the entire GW team. Adept at delivering polished presentations of a very complex nature to audiences of varied backgrounds.

  • Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle the most unique situations. May seek advice to make decisions on complex business issues.

  • Oversight, expanding deliverables and enhancing the quality of workplace results.

  • Developing and implementing space planning strategy and design details

  • Liaising with various global / regional team members to governor consistency across the region

  • Managing capital flash / actual spends and reporting on funding allocation.

  • Drive all tender application processes including design and construction.

  • Reporting on program performance to direct manager and EMEA leadership on a regular basis.

  • Ensuring relevant standards, process and regulations are upheld.

  • Experience in managing complex real estate capital projects in different countries within EMEA is a required.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in corporate architectural, real estate project management or construction industry and extensive related experience; or Master's degree and a minimum of 10 plus years’ experience in the same fields. Advanced knowledge and experience in a specific workplace interiors, engineering, or construction management functions. Advanced experience in managing project activities, coordinating deliverables, and managing schedules.

  • Thorough knowledge and experience in corporate architectural, engineering, or construction management function is required. The understanding of cross-function model within large corporate organization is preferred.

  • Proven track record of working with wide variety of complex operational and commercial challenges is a need.

  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and to initiate follow-through with meticulous attention to details and high level of accuracy.

  • Proven ability to manage financial. Strong financial knowledge to manage flash vs. spend and have ability to explore strategic sourcing options.

  • Proven knowledge of risk management with the ability to identify activities.

  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a professional and timely manner.

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
