SENIOR MANAGER – DIGITAL DATA OPERATIONS

Location: Amsterdam

As a Senior Manager within Digital Data Operations you will be part of a small ambitious team with the opportunity to make a big impact in the data platform space. You will join us on the journey to building out our modern data platform, and at the same time, exploring and learning how AI can contribute in making it even better.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role will be the operational lead for our digital data platform across Direct to Consumer (DTC), media, analytics, and CRM, ensuring operational excellence as we expand across new data domains, and grow adoption.

Your main focus:

  • Operates the day-to-day operation of our AWS digital data platform ensuring data is acquired and transformed based on our Coty standard and stakeholder requirements.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines from data acquisition, ingest, cleansing and enriching through to a business-friendly data warehouse.
  • Provide assurance on data quality, freshness, and availability for the data platform analysts and reporting users.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve root cause for data warehouse operational issues.
  • Maintain our data product catalogue, and communicates any changes to existing sources, new data sources, and data improvements to stakeholders.
  • Develop new data quality test cases and deploy these to our automated test execution platform.
  • Maintain internal dashboards for data quality, lineage, availability, and usage.

The team consists of Data Engineer, Analysts and Digital Specialists. You will work closely together with several departments including; Media Organisation in Paris, IT & BI teams in AMS Ecommerce team in New York. All your colleagues are supportive, team spirited and proud of their accomplishments .

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

You will have extensive experience with AWS within Digital E-commerce CRM, and/or Paid Media/Advertising data domain. Your experience is expected to be:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field
  • Extensive experience with AWS technologies such as S3, Athena, Glue, Lambda, Terraform, Airflow, and similar. Experience with GCP is also a plus.
  • Experience with big data technologies such as SQL, Databricks/Snowflake and DBT, and ETL/ELT processes
  • Strong programming skills in Python, or other programming languages commonly used in data engineering.
  • Experience with 3rd party APIs like Shopify, Meta, Google, TikTok, and similar
  • Experience with data visualisation and reporting tools such as Power BI, Looker, or similar
