Workday Integration Consultant

Workday is one of the core tools within Vanderlande and we are continuously improving the application to keep up with this change. There are multiple strategic programs of which a core component is to improve Workday or to integrate Workday with new or existing applications. In this role you work together with business, the HR Centre of Excellence (CoE) team, IT specialists and -architects to develop new integrations and change existing integrations.

What will you be doing?

As IT Specialist Workday Integrations you work closely together with the HR Centre of Excellence (CoE) team and our implementation partners to build new integrations. The HR CoE team gathers business requirements and translates those requirements into functional Workday requirements. Together with HR CoE you set up the technical integration requirements. In case of standard integrations you are able to configure the integrations and implement. For Workday studio integrations you lead the implementation of the integration by our implementation partner. You test thoroughly and lead the User Acceptance Test by the Subject Matter Experts in the business.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to understand their requirements and subsequently translate them into technical requirements and designs.

• Analyze business requirements and system capabilities to develop, test and deploy integration solutions in collaboration with internal and external teams.

• Lead, plan and implement change requests in alignment with IT counterparts on integration topics

• Analysis of technical-/ integration issues

• Testing of solutions and leading User Acceptance Tests

• Support implementation of (pilot) solutions in our business

• Following product- and business roadmaps

What do we ask from you?

• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• 9 yrs+ (Bachelors) or 7yrs + (Master) relevant work experience in Workday implementation with min 3 years as a lead.

• You have experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, XSLT) using DTAP approach

• You have experience with SaaS, SoA, XML, SOAP, REST, JSON, API, SSL, PGP

• You have knowledge about application and data security

• You enjoy troubleshooting technical issues and have experience in analyzing complex issues

• You are a team player and enjoy realizing new functionality in teams.

• You are able to lead projects with senior stakeholders and are a strong solution architect skill wise

• You like working on several (sub) projects simultaneously

• Quality of work is something you see as key

• You are fluent in English (both spoken and written), being fluent in Dutch is a pre

Your team

You will work in the team ‘Business Applications’, with global responsibility for continuously developing the Vanderlande business application landscape. The team consists of 10 employees together managing the core business applications for Service, HR, Installation, Project Planning and other areas. We are part of the department Business Information Systems with a team managing the ERP application and a team responsible for operational support of the applications.

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 4600 to € 6600 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
