We would like to offer a position in our team to a student to work alongside us as a intern Software Engineer and gain valuable work experience.
Team Black is responsible for the Functional Module ‘Order Fulfillment’ which is a software-only product that manages the order flow in the warehouse automation solutions Vanderlande provides. The team consists of a Product Owner, Scrum Master, Architect, Test Automation Engineer and a group of Software Engineers with various levels of experience and nationalities.
You’ll be working in a mature Agile team that works with a 2-week sprint cadence. The team is part of a larger Agile Release Train (ART) that consists of approximately 8 development teams. Together all teams work on a 3-monthly program increment.
As a Software Engineer you’ll participate in all team events such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand Up, refinement meetings, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective.
You will work on User Stories to implement new code, review PRs of your team members, perform proof of concepts to explore new concepts, prepare software releases, present demonstrations to stakeholders.
Proficiency in the English language (see Language).
The software stack you’ll be working with contains the following technologies:
Java / Spring Boot knowledge is crucial.
Familiarity with Docker is essential.
Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and Azure.
