As a Sales Trainee, you’d join our Support & Admissions team, assisting our members with their enrollment and helping them to find the best courses for their learning needs. You’d also closely collaborate with the Sales department by helping them identify sales opportunities.
At AIHR, we aim to future-proof HR by offering world-class online training programs for HR Professionals. As a Sales Trainee, you will be the face of AIHR for prospects looking for guidance in choosing the right training program for their career and identifying those looking to upskill their teams.
In this role, you will become the trusted partner of prospective members and build a relationship with them based on a deep understanding of their career goals and the training programs we offer. All with the ultimate goal of helping them (and their teams) enroll on our platform.
To help you develop your skills (think: consultative sales, active listening, negotiation tactics, etc.), our experienced sales management team will train you. Through day-to-day coaching and formalized training, you will grow transferable skills you will benefit from the rest of your career.
On a typical Monday morning, you will start the day by planning your week and preparing for the team stand-up when you and your colleagues share the focus area for the coming days. Afterward, you grab a cup of coffee and quickly chat with your colleagues about the party they attended last weekend in Rotterdam. You kick off your tasks for today and jump into your inbox to begin directly working with the customers & deals in your pipeline.
Throughout the day, you will have several customer calls. One is with an HR Business Partner at an FMCG company in the US. She’s interested in learning more about Data Analytics, but during your call, you discover that her entire team is interested. You immediately flag the opportunity to decide on the next steps. Lunch is prepared by our in-house chef, Rick; after a quick lunch in the office with colleagues, you will work on our website chat to help potential members looking to register immediately.
Tomorrow you will have training, where you will work to build foundational sales skills. Here, you will role-play, review calls & emails with our Head of Sales Cas, and learn how to develop a consultative sales style. You can immediately use these learnings in practice!
We close off a successful week of sales and training with a drink on a Friday evening, where you get to know your colleagues better. Although we all work hard to make the company grow, we like to relax and enjoy our joint success.
