Here’s what we’ll do together:

Is your passion for denim as high as ours? In this internship, you will learn how to ensure that the G-Star is on-brand and optimized for all global distribution channels

As our new Intern Merchandising, you’ll help with a varied range of tasks to gain a solid understanding of the merchandising function. As an Intern Merchandising, you will play a vital role in our success by understanding the fashion industry, conducting competitor research, and collaborating with the Merchandising team on a wide range of tasks across both menswear and womenswear. If you have a genuine passion for curating collections that connect with a global audience and possess exceptional numeracy skills, we want to hear from you.

Your tasks & responsibilities:

You will support the Product Merchandising Team with Seasonal Planning and In-Season related tasks. Some of your day to day activities will include:

  • Conduct competitor analyses
  • Review Sell-In and Sell-Out data
  • Support the team during Product Milestones (e.g. Sample Reviews, Go-To-Market presentations)
  • Keep track of Product Calendar

Here's what you bring to the table:

  • You are doing a Bachelor/Master in a Fashion Management or related education
  • You like working with numbers and data and have first skills with Excel
  • You understand the fashion industry and are able to help with competitor research
  • You are available full-time (40hrs per week) for a period of 6 months starting in January/February 2024
  • You are already living in the Netherlands and (you are prepared to) have a Dutch health insurance
  • You are responsible for finding your own housing
  • You are able and willing to sponsor your own daily travel costs
  • If you are a non-EU student you are in possession of a mandatory internship assignment from your university or college
  • Fashion? You live and breathe it!

Finally, do you have strong personality and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English? We’d love to meet you!
