The internship

The internship is with the Tenderdesk of Heineken Global Procurement. With your support on the continuous improvement of the E-sourcing process and executing tenders, you will contribution to Heineken Procurement Strategy and the delivery of its cost savings ambition.

The main responsibilities would be:

• Supporting the E-Sourcing process globally and the continuous improvement of our E-Sourcing tool.
• Supporting the E-sourcing Project manager to drive E-Sourcing usage across all OpCos
• Work together with the buyers and contract managers to execute the tenderplan of procurement.

This project will give you the opportunity to understand and to develop:

• E-Sourcing skills
• Project management skills
• Communication skills
• Stakeholder management skills
• Understand how the E-Sourcing processes work in HEINEKEN

The department

You work in the Tenderdesk Team, in a team of 6, providing support to the Global Buyers and the 80+ HEINEKEN OpCos and contribute to building and delivering the company’s strategy.

The terms of employment

• Your starting date is 1st of February 2024
• The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible)
• The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor)
• It is a practice-oriented internship
• You will be based in Schiphol
• Working hybride
• You will receive an internship fee of €500 gross pm based on 40 hours per week
• You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime)
• If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

The start of your internship

Together with a diverse group of interns from different departments you will start your internship at HEINEKEN. Together you will be introduced to the organization. Furthermore, you can organize fun activities with your fellow interns.

Conditions of HEINEKEN

1. You are enrolled at an educational institution.
   1. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
   2. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
2. Physical presence at the location of your internship. We believe that you learn most when you can work directly with your colleagues. It is therefore not possible to work completely remote and HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing.
