You and your job

You are the Scrum Master in teams that deliver software for the Payments Service Provider at Rabobank: Rabo Smart Pay. Your teams work on the delivery of software for merchants/shops so their customers can make their payments, fast and effortless. Payments online, in the shop downtown, or in the mall. So you work on a key element in the payments ecosystem, you make payments happen. The payments world is highly dynamic and continuously evolving. Merchants need instant insight into their business at any moment and be able to adapt their payments services quickly.

As a Scrum Master, you are responsible for one or more squads, facilitating their scrum ceremonies, removing impediments and coaching them to become ever more high performing. But the scrum process is not where you stop. You coach the team on delivery, technology, attitude, (cross-team) collaboration, and communication. You see and feel what the team and your colleagues need, identify trends and recurring themes and take appropriate actions.

You collaborate with your fellow scrum masters in the Rabo Smart Pay Area to help out if needed, and to grow as professionals together.

You personify Scrum and Agile, conceptualizing and actioning ideas within your squads and the area. You support the Product Owners in executing the product backlog and are dedicated to maintaining a healthy and creative team process to deliver world-class software.

You work in one or more DevOps team, you create and run your software together.

You and your talent:

  • You grow high performing squads with a high engagement that are able to deliver complex and cross functional initiatives;

  • Experience in a IT professional role such as Business Analyst or Tech Engineer, enjoy working in a tech environment.

And you recognize yourself in this:

  • Bachelor or Master degree;
  • At least 3 years of experience as Scrum Master;
  • Scrum-Certifications PSM-I and preferably PSM-II;
  • Familiarity with scaled agile frameworks like LeSS;
  • Understanding the concepts and objectives of DevOps;
  • Have a can-do mentality and you know how to get things done, yet you are flexible and sensitive to the needs of your colleagues;
  • You are fluent in English, and good command of the Dutch language is a big plus
  • Preferably you have worked in a financial services environment
  • Payments processing knowledge is plus
  • Azure DevOps holds no secrets for you
  • Experience in working with different cultures and a mix of onsite and off shore teams
  • Working and living in the Netherlands.

This is what we offer you

  • From 3.959, - up to 5.655, - gross per month (scale 9) depending on knowledge and experience
  • 13 month's salary and 8% holiday allowance;
  • an extra budget of 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out.
  • a budget of € 750- to set up your home working space and a monthly home working allowance of up to € 40-
  • a personal development budget of € 1,400-
  • a combination of working from home and at the office
  • 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport
  • a pension scheme to which you contribute 5.5%
  • 151.2 hours of holiday per year including 1 Diversity Day per year
