Purpose of the role:

We are recruiting for a Wholesale Franchise Intern at the Karl Lagerfeld HQ in Amsterdam. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a strong and successful business with ambitious yet realistic growth plans and gain experience in a rapidly growing and expanding fashion and retail company. The intern will provide support in the day-to-day wholesale activities with our franchise partners ranging from data entry, supporting key account management and sales campaign, and being in direct contact with internal and external linkages of the Karl Lagerfeld brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting the sales team, focusing on the distribution of sales reporting like sell thru reporting, product flows to key accounts, monitoring customer feedback on sales results, etc.
  • Preparing reports and is responsible for daily contact with accounts to align a strong and personalized relationship with customers and follow up on any aspects concerning this.
  • Preparing presentations for different purposes to be shared within the company or with external parties.
  • Supporting the wholesale team for preparations upfront and during the selling campaigns.
  • Supporting communication flows to existing customers and prospects.
  • Administrative skill essentials: overseeing orders and communicating relevant order information to designated people involved.
  • Distributing data to internal and external parties; selling thru reports, lookbooks, brand information, Qlickview reporting, etc.
  • Respond efficiently to any online or telephone queries and will be in direct contact with major key accounts.
  • Contacting directly with other departments to ensure a smooth flow of communication and act as a true asset to the Wholesale team.
  • Working closely together with the sales coordinator on projects from concept to production.

Skills, Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree is required, any further qualifications relating to Sales or Marketing are a plus.
  • Language: fluent in English, both verbal and written
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, PPT

  • You are proactive and think ahead, bring structure to your work and are independent
  • You are reliable and have the ability to lead the delivery of a high level of customer service and stand for the brand
  • You are précised with attention to detail and work organized and possess a high level of administration ability to effectively manage paperwork.
  • Communicates openly, honestly and constructively
  • You must have a strong interest in Wholesale and fashion
  • Due to the volume of communication with key accounts and external clients, you must possess excellent customer service skills.
  • It is required that you are enrolled in a university or school program for the entire duration of the internship.
