About Virtual Vaults
Virtual Vaults is a modern dataroom supplier. Virtual Vaults was one of the first dataroom suppliers to embrace the modern way to build a cloud native platform. This has allowed us to quickly become the market leader in the Netherlands and positions us well for international growth.
The Challenge
In order to enable further growth Virtual Vaults wants to demonstrate the quality of the security program. Virtual Vaults also wants to be agile with respect to compliance demands in the different markets that Virtual Vaults plans to enter.
Many of the textbook examples in the compliance world assume old-school on-premises datacenters. The challenge is then what a state-of-the-art information security management system should look like in a cloud native environment. This is where the internship comes in.
Internship opportunity
Virtual Vaults is looking for an intern that is interested in the combination of modern technologies and information security frameworks. Based on desk research, surveys and interviews you will be tasked with researching best practices for cloud native information security compliance. Virtual Vaults is currently ISO 27001:2013 certified and is looking into other compliance frameworks, such as SOC 2.

You will be guided by experts in the field of Security, who have plenty of experience with guiding (graduate) interns.
You will follow our amazing e-Learning module to better understand the products and services from Virtual Vaults.

Who are we looking for?
You are currently studying HBO (Technical) Computer Science, Software Engineering or a study related to Information Security Compliance.
You're available 4 to 5 days a week.
You're ambitious and interested in contributing to a high-end product in the world of M&A 🚀
Some understanding of cloud technology is preferred
