Do you know how to write, manage online content and communicate effectively? As a Communications Advisor, you drive the content and performance of our external online platforms to deliver the right message and give our brand a voice. Reach your full potential as a Communications Advisor

As Communications Advisor, you are part of the Corporate Communications team, which consists of two Creative Designers and the Brand Manager, to whom you also report. The team acts as the voice of the company's brand and the guardian of its image among our various internal and external stakeholders. It tells the story of B&S and translates its strategy into consistent messaging.

This position is instrumental in the development and implementation of communication strategies to support B&S' position within and outside the company. You collaborate with multiple teams across the organisation to drive communication efforts that engage employees and align them with the company's goals and initiatives. In turn, you drive the content and performance of our external online platforms to deliver the right message and participate in strategic projects to evolve B&S's positioning.

In short, you will:

  • Implement the communication strategy - internal and external - across channels (i.e. intranet, corporate website, email, company events and social media)
  • Write and support the review of corporate content and documentation including case studies, press releases and policy documents
  • Develop compelling content together with the designers with a solid understanding of the different channels and audiences
  • Coordinate and communicate with external agencies and partners for the continuous optimisation of content and features of our corporate website and intranet platform
  • Drive regular and close collaboration with the different departmental teams and business segments, supporting and providing communication solutions
  • Launch and be the product owner of our new intranet platform
  • Effectively collaborate on strategic company projects
  • Support with administrative tasks related to communication activities
  • Measure and analyse the effectiveness of the communication efforts

This is you

You are a proactive and critical communication expert with analytical skills. You have a strong strategic mindset and the drive and ability to work with different teams. You can manage multiple projects at once while working independently and collaboratively, which is essential to succeed in this role. Furthermore, you know how to influence external parties and all internal stakeholders.

You

  • Have at least a Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, Journalism or a related field
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in a communications role – in implementing strategic (corporate) communication plans, as well as translating complex information into compelling and clear content
  • Experience with the management of online communication platforms such as corporate website, social media and/or intranet
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English – verbal & written
  • Have strong writing and proofreading skills; it’s a plus if you have experience with SEO as well
  • Have solid analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Have a basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite and Wordpress CMS (plus)

We offer you

  • A maximum salary of € 3.900,- in line with your experience, plus a yearly fixed Christmas bonus and a performance dependent bonus
  • Initially, a one-year contract with the prospect of permanent employment

  • A travel allowance of up to 75 km on single trip travel when working at the office, or an allowance if you’re working remotely (from home)
