The Role:

Our Market Intelligence team provides guidance to Irdeto's strategy toward our 2025 vision to be the leader in the digital platform security market. Internally, we lead the execution of research and analyses in all our verticals and target markets (Video Entertainment, Video Games, Connected Transport and Connected Industries) to support strategic decision-making, especially in today’s turbulent business environment.

Join our Market Intelligence team to explore the world of cybersecurity a cutting-edge technology company, helping to develop of the global market and competitive analyses.

This exciting full-time internship position starts in August / September 2023 and runs for six months.

As our Market Intelligence Intern - Gaming, you will focus on providing support for the development of global market and competitive analyses, specifically for the video games industry.

Working directly with different internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Product Management) and external third-party research companies, you will support the Market Intelligence Team’s mission to identify market trends, provide early warnings, and continuously support decision making by offering a clear view of the market and its different players.

Your learning outcomes will include becoming more knowledgeable in the areas of business strategy, marketing, market research and in the various industries Irdeto is involved in (video games, digital media, automotive, healthcare and more). You will be applying your theoretical knowledge and research skills within an international workplace while undertaking real-time global projects which can in turn expand your professional network.

Your mission at Irdeto:

• Perform creative desk-based quantitative and qualitative research on market drivers, market sizing and competitive analysis.
• Gather/cleanse data, build analysis models and run scenarios.
• Write recommendations, draft reports and presentations based on performed research.
• Create business cases under the supervision of the Market Intelligence Team.
• Interact with external analysts and senior management.
• Maintain and update the Market Intelligence portal (an online repository to share market and competitive intelligence material).
• Create in-depth reports based on a collection of market and competitive intelligence material.
• Create and maintain detailed profiles for top competitors, including industry benchmarks (by regions and by solutions lines), SWOT analyses, etc.
• Support during business planning process providing insights and analysis for tactical and strategic decision-making.

• You have a keen interest in the gaming sector and are passionate about the industry.
• You are positive, self-motivated, dedicated, initiative-taking, not afraid to take risks, passionate about making a difference, and have a can-do attitude.
• You are currently undertaking, or have recently attained, a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or another relevant field.
• You have advanced skills in using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other common business software.
• You are passionate about working with data and being creative in gathering and analyzing information.
• You have excellent verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
• You can work from our office in Hoofddorp for a minimum of 2-3 days a week.
