About the team

You will be part of the Community Management team, which is part of the Customer Success team. The Customer Success team is one of the driving factors behind our commercial engine. Community Management ensures all our solvers are proud and excited to be part of the solver community.

What you will learn

As a Community Management Intern, your main focus is on our solver Community. Your goal is to source and recruit solvers for our assignments on the platform – you're in charge of finding the perfect match each time. We want to optimise the success of our solvers and ensure they feel engaged with blackbear.

During your internship, you will learn and improve on the following skills:

  • Working closely with our Project Consultants and Marketing team to make solvers fall in love with blackbear.
  • Building and leveraging relationships with solvers.
  • Delivering high-quality support to our community - you are their main point of contact.
  • Conducting regular onboarding calls to get to know new applicants and help them get started.
  • Sourcing solvers on our platform and matching them to assignments that fit their skills.
  • Sourcing solvers outside our platform to fill any new needs that arise.
  • Identifying relevant channels to reach new solvers and working with the Marketing team to properly leverage these.
  • Gathering and sharing feedback with the Sales, Marketing, Tech, and Customer Success teams about solver needs, product improvements, and marketing messaging.
  • Ensuring that the work we do with our solvers delivers strong value while also growing our business.

All in all, you will be creating true blackbear ambassadors and fans.

What you'll bring

Aside from the blackbear mindset we look for a match in the following skills and knowledge to strengthen our pack:

  • Currently, you are studying in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communication, Human Resource Management, or other commercial/social studies, at least at hbo level.
  • You love writing and are communicatively strong.
  • You are service-oriented and naturally connect with people.
  • Some experience in Customer Service and/or previous experience in Marketing are a plus.
  • You are fluent and write excellently in both Dutch and English.
  • You are available from September 2023 onwards, for 6 months, for at least 24 hours per week.
  • You are located in The Netherlands

You will receive an internship compensation of 400 EUR based on a full-time internship, paid vacation days, and a work laptop. Our team will guide you and make sure you learn all you can during your internship.

Together with your assigned mentor you can decide on your learning objectives and work on your school-related projects.
