Description & Requirements

Start date: 15th August 2023

Duration: 5 to 6 months

Platform/Project: Multiple Teams (please see below).

Location: Nijmegen

Basic Requirements for all:

  • You should have strong communication skills and fluency in English- both written and verbal (Dutch is not a requirement but other languages are a plus)
  • You are enrolled at a university for at least 50% study load for the duration of the internship.
  • NOTE: EU working rights are required (Either you have EU Citizenship- you are studying in the Netherlands or have relevant student work visa)

Quality Technologist

Assignments and key activities:

  • Support project coordination- communication and documentation activities within: Food
  • Safety and Quality Risk Mitigation Projects
  • Food Safety and Quality Process Improvement for Suppliers and External Factories
  • Coordination and collation of information from our global suppliers on improvements- KPI's and monitoring process of improvements
  • Identify- track- report and support in updating and communicating information related to key performance indicators (KPI's).
  • Management- organization and consolidation of information for regional and global communication and planned meetings.
  • Analyzing Information and supporting the global management team

Specific Team Requirements:

  • You are a Food Quality Management or Food Technology or Food Safety HBO/Bachelors/Master’s student.
  • HACCP- food operational knowledge and risk management knowledge are crucial.
  • Product development experience is a plus.
  • You are precise with data- analytical and result driven.

FSQ External Manufacturer

Assignments and key activities:

Support and learn on day-to-day FSQ activities like HACCP- Root cause analysis- Continuous improvement- FSQ Strategy.

Specific Team Requirements:

  • You are a Food Safety/Quality or Food Technology or Food Science Bachelor/Master student.
  • You have experience in HACCP procedures and operational quality.
  • You have strong communication and presentation skills (e.g.- PowerPoint)
  • You have strong project management skills including root cause analysis.
  • Experience with prior product development projects is a plus.
  • You can energize self and others- able to simplify the complex and be courageous in the face of uncertainty.
  • You have high level of discipline and can work independently
