About the Team:

We are looking for a Credit Control Intern to join our Accounts Receivable Department. You will assist the Credit Control team to achieve efficient, timely and accurate collection of accounts receivable of EVBox BV. and its foreign subsidiaries. Another task you will undertake is to assist and/or develop new controls and process improvements in the order-to-cash processes. Throughout your internship, you will report to the Credit Control Manager, and will be supported by the team while you learn the way of things at EVBox.

The credit control team, located in our headquarters in Amsterdam, has a diverse nature in which every person is respected on their merits and added value to achieving the best results. You will…

• Be responsible to initiate daily dunning activity from our software customer portfolio
• Assist in the AR reconciliation of accounts and payment allocations by our cash team
• Initiate internal requests for deactivation of assets of customers in default
• Monitor incoming customer queries in Salesforce, work on daily case allocations, customer communications, assist the credit controller with dispute resolutions, and more
• Assist other Finance & Support teams with AR related topics
• Participate in projects that might arise, proactively think in improvements and changes on processes to enhance cash collection.

Internship requirements

To be eligible for an internship, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch University or Hanzehogeschool throughout the entire duration of your internship. Additionally, we are looking for someone who is:

• Available for 6 - 7 months, between 24 and 40 hours week.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Finance
• A great communicator fluent in English, which is the EVBox business language. Dutch will be a plus.
• Knowledge in working with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Experienced in pulling reports and understanding how a database works
