JOB PURPOSE
The Nutrition Europe/Middle East & Turkey/Australia & New Zealand (EU/MET/ANZ ) Business Unit consists of all countries across Europe, Middle East, Turkey and ANZ regions and is driven by some of the most known Foods brands in the world.
Nutrition plays a significant role in the long-term value creation of Unilever, measured by cash delivery, market share development, category growth, innovation metrics and brand health. Finance, as the other functions of the Nutrition Business Unit, provides value-adding business partnering, strategic support, and competitive services to the cluster.
The Supply Chain FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Analyst is responsible for managing the core reporting processes of the European Supply Chain (SC) for Nutrition in close cooperation with the Supply Chain FP&A Manager, ensuring a timely and accurate delivery of monthly results as well as forecast information and performance headlines. The role is interacting with multiple stakeholders within the broader Supply Chain Finance and Supply Chain Financial Services (SCFS) teams to enable the relevant performance discussions. The collaboration with different Business Unit Supply Chain Finance teams is key to align the operational month end procedures as well as share and learn from best practices.
Hence, the candidate is required to develop a deep understanding of Supply Chain Finance processes end-to-end while being able to translate this knowledge into value-focused improvement actions. Strong analytical skills are key to succeed in this role. In addition, the aim is to improve processes in terms of speed, accuracy and simplicity and generating new capabilities to further improve performance management.
