The Nutrition Europe/Middle East & Turkey/Australia & New Zealand (EU/MET/ANZ ) Business Unit consists of all countries across Europe, Middle East, Turkey and ANZ regions and is driven by some of the most known Foods brands in the world.

Nutrition plays a significant role in the long-term value creation of Unilever, measured by cash delivery, market share development, category growth, innovation metrics and brand health. Finance, as the other functions of the Nutrition Business Unit, provides value-adding business partnering, strategic support, and competitive services to the cluster.

The Supply Chain FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Analyst is responsible for managing the core reporting processes of the European Supply Chain (SC) for Nutrition in close cooperation with the Supply Chain FP&A Manager, ensuring a timely and accurate delivery of monthly results as well as forecast information and performance headlines. The role is interacting with multiple stakeholders within the broader Supply Chain Finance and Supply Chain Financial Services (SCFS) teams to enable the relevant performance discussions. The collaboration with different Business Unit Supply Chain Finance teams is key to align the operational month end procedures as well as share and learn from best practices.

Hence, the candidate is required to develop a deep understanding of Supply Chain Finance processes end-to-end while being able to translate this knowledge into value-focused improvement actions. Strong analytical skills are key to succeed in this role. In addition, the aim is to improve processes in terms of speed, accuracy and simplicity and generating new capabilities to further improve performance management.


Based in Rotterdam, the Supply Chain FP&A Analyst is responsible for:

  • Managing the core reporting processes of the European Supply Chain, including Actuals and Forecast for Nutrition Europe and Unilever Food Solutions Europe
  • Coordinating information flow between Supply Chain Business Unit Finance and Supply Chain Financial Services teams & holding them accountable for timeliness and quality of information
  • Continuous improvement of processes and analytical tools to create better insights faster
  • Center of expertise for Supply Chain Finance specific technical concepts and systems
  • Provide expertise and support in Supply Chain Finance projects

The Supply Chain FP&A Analyst will interface with the following key stakeholders:

  • Senior FP&A Manager and SC FP&A Manager
  • Nutrition EU/MET/ANZ SC Finance Director and her SC Finance team
  • SC Financial Services team based in Katowice, Poland
  • All Business Unit SC Finance & SC FP&A Teams in Europe


  • Professional finance qualification. Master’s degree desirable.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and interested to dive into details while being able to zoom-out to see the big picture.
  • Reporting fundamentals: knowledge/experience in financial analytics, reporting and forecasting with large data sets. Has experience with month end processes.
  • A natural passion for understanding processes end-to-end and scrutinizing business results. Is biased towards actions that have the most tangible and significant impact to the business.
  • Excellent Excel skills a must and experience with reporting systems in large businesses is a plus.
  • Relevant experience within Supply Chain Finance is a plus.
  • Rapidly absorbs new information, knowledge and applies new techniques and procedures.
  • Hands-on mentality to ensure things get done and holding self & others accountable
  • Communication skills: able to present effectively and to translate technical results into business insights.
  • Networking skills: able to work remotely with numerous stakeholders and to develop with them collaborative relationships.
