About the job

This role is part of the Commercial Analytics (Data Driven Sales) team of HEINEKEN Netherlands - Retail. The team brings cutting-edge data analysis and innovations with technology, data and advanced analytics to HEINEKEN. With speed and agility, we ensure our sales and marketing colleagues have competitive data driven insights it needs to deliver on its ambition.

Your role at HEINEKEN

As the Analytics Product Manager, you will accelerate the growth of the sales contribution coming from data-driven solutions to guarantee that the commercial teams are getting the most out of their efforts. You will oversee and improve existing analytics products and own the end-to-end ideation of new data innovations, translating business needs to data driven solutions, the development and the adoption. Your primary focus is on high impact commercial decisions by transforming these towards data driven decisions.

You will work directly with data specialists (scientists, engineers and analysts) and business process owners (sales and marketing managers) to deliver and implement valuable co-created data products. You are the bridge between commercial and data specialists, also known as the Analytics Translator.

This is what you like to do:

  • Identify opportunities in improving business processes with data-driven insights
  • Develop the roadmap of analytics products;
  • Set up and manage the cross functional product development and deployment process;
  • Communicate and collaborate with business managers whose operations are going to be changed by the data innovations;
  • Continuously explore the growing possibilities in leveraging Artificial Intelligence in our business;
  • Work with, learn from and have fun with talented colleagues;

Your future team:

Within HEINEKEN you will be part of the department Data Driven Sales where you will strengthen the team consisting of 5 passionate professionals, including you. Together with our team you will have the mission to improve the data driven way of working that we need to win in the Retail market. Your workplace is located in the center of Leiden, opposite the Central Station. HEINEKEN embraces a hybrid way of working and you will be able to work from home a few days a week as well.

Are we looking for you?

  • University degree in a commercial or technical discipline;
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant working experience;
  • Understand commercial processes, have the helicopter view on needs within data tools;
  • Understand analytics and Artificial Intelligence and the impact on businesses;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to ensure the successful implementation of change
  • Curious mindset, with the ability to work independently and to proactively break silos within the organization;
  • A team player, innovative and eager to learn;
  • Ability to simply & logically explain analyses and data requirements;
  • Languages: Dutch & English (verbal and writing skills)

Nice to have:

  • Experience as Product Owner in a digital environment
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Looker or Tableau;
  • Programming knowledge in languages such as Python or R
  • Consultancy experience
  • Experience in Retail, Marketing or Sales
