Our People Advisory Services team brings their skills, insights, and experience to assist our clients. During this Traineeship at EY, you’ll have the chance to contribute to this and build a career as unique as you are!

The opportunity

We are looking for a driven and ambitious student to join our exciting and growing team. The PAS WFA Traineeship will give you the opportunity to discover three areas of expertise within two years and give you a broad overview of what we have to offer. After the Traineeship you will get started in the area that fits you best. The three different areas of expertise are:

  • HR Transactions & Rewards
  • Digital HR
  • People & Transformation

Besides this there are some other things you will need to know:

  • Next to the projects, you will participate in EY’s People Advisory Learning & development curriculum, this includes; workshops, lunch & learn sessions, (online) training
  • All graduates start on the 1st of September.
  • You will have multiple (social) events together with the Trainees but also with the rest of the team.
  • All graduates will be individually guided by a counselor during these two years. You will be provided with a buddy from the beginning of your program to make sure that you will have a smooth onboarding. Besides that, you will have a coaching group together with the other Trainees to improve yourself and the others.

HR Transactions & Rewards:

HR Transactions

In the HR Transactions team, we focus on advising and supporting clients through the complete deal life cycle, providing a range of sell-side and buy-side HR/People related services to clients. We contribute to and validate the deal price pre-deal and assist in the realization of the deal synergies post-deal.

Our services range from complex HR due diligence, day one readiness, post-merger integration, carve-outs, and post-deal value enhancement such as organizational design, consultation planning, and execution and culture change initiatives.

People make or break a deal! It is critically important to manage the people issues in an acquisition to deliver the value included in the purchase price.

Rewards

Ever wondered what the answer is to the question ‘Which rewards are most appreciated by employees and work best for me or my organization?’. We would say there is no one simple answer to this question. Instead, we feel that the best rewards are organization specific and are inherently intertwined with an organization’s core values, mission, and Employee Value Proposition (EVP).

For example, many employees perceive variable pay as a dissatisfier. Although companies spend a lot of money on their variable pay programs, they often do not achieve the desired result at the right cost. Our multidisciplinary team of remuneration experts, technology geeks and data wizards understand this contradicting outcome. We help our clients overcome this improving transparency and fairness and by reducing complexity and executional difficulties of their variable pay programs.

Our work does not stop at variable pay though. Our expert team is fit to assist our clients with all questions relating to broad-based remuneration, remuneration strategy, and aligning EVP and Reward Value Proposition (RVP). Additionally, we operate in the field of M&A, providing assistance to our clients through pre-deal due diligences, and post-deal, on compensation and benefits related topics in the context of mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
