We are looking for a Senior Technician Non-clinical Cell Therapy

About the role

You join CellPoint’s Non-clinical Cell Therapy team in the Leiden Bio Science Park to assess the efficacy and characteristics of CAR T cell products. As senior technician experienced in cell culture, flow cytometry and cytotoxicity assays, you know what is needed to develop high quality assays to determine cytotoxic effects. These assays will be vital to understand what makes the CAR T cell products efficacious in patients and what the potential adverse effects are.

Your work will directly influence the initiation of clinical development and contribute to the data package for regulatory filing, that can enable clinical trials.

The senior technician of the Non-clinical Cell Therapy team reports to the Director Non-clinical Cell Therapy.

Job requirements

  • Master degree in life sciences, biotechnology, or related discipline, preferably with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • A good knowledge of flow cytometry.
  • Experience with (primary) cell culture.
  • Knowledge of T cell culture is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech company in a research or preclinical development role is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to be flexible with changing priorities.
  • Self-driven and can-do mindset, without compromising quality.
  • Fluent in English
