Content Marketing Specialist

The role:

In this role, you will work as part of a small, dedicated, and passionate Content Marketing Team that is responsible for generating engaging marketing collateral to fuel Irdeto’s awareness, lead generation, and nurturing campaigns. We position Irdeto’s products and solutions by translating technical concepts into easily digestible stories, with clear CTAs. Working closely with Demand Gen, Business Development, as well as the Product and Solutions Teams, your day-to-day tasks require adaptive thinking and creativity to turn their requests into engaging copy that stays in line with our writing standards.

Your mission at Irdeto:

  • You write SEO-filled content to drive traffic, engagement,, and leads blogs, eBooks, infographics, social and email copy, data sheets, newsletters, and website content.
  • You have basic SEO knowledge, and understand content categorization, structuring, and writing, as well as distribution and measurement.
  • Working with the Demand Gen Team, you support campaigns through the creation of content-fulfilling CTAs (emails, LinkedIn posts, website banners, etc.) to both drive awareness and facilitate lead generation.
  • You support the content marketing strategy and campaigns. Your ideas are welcome and contributions help create thought leadership as well as middle and bottom-funnel content.
  • You have a can-do attitude and can work effectively with other parts of the wider marketing department on delivering content marketing assets (graphic designers, web developers, marketing ops).

How you can add value to the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
  • 2+ years of corporate content-creating an experience, preferably in cybersecurity, IT, connected industries, media entertainment, or gaming.
  • Experience creating original tech content in US English for web, social media, and digital.
  • Experience using online tools such as WordPress, SEMrush, Monday.com, SharePoint, and Google Analytics.
  • Experience managing the priorities of multiple stakeholders while focusing on the delivery of results in the form of engagement and leads.
  • Experience in staying on top of multiple projects at once, e.g., preparing the promo for an eBook for one team, while working on a blog article for another and writing short copy at short notice for a third.
  • Commercial and curious mindset. The topics are challenging and require a lot of reading to understand both the subject matter as well as the interests of the audience. We aim to deliver content in the most effective way possible to provoke engagement. At the end of the day, what you do is supposed to enable revenue.
  • Good understanding of the content styles for social media channels (namely LinkedIn).
  • Being comfortable with long review processes, the need to re-doing work, and maintaining your resolve when writing about topics that may not appeal to you as much.
  • High self-motivation with the ability to support the content strategy in a geographically dispersed team.
  • Cultural awareness and team player skills. Our team members come from a variety of backgrounds, and we always work collaboratively within varying time constraints.
  • A written portfolio detailing 5 of your latest, or most proud of, longer pieces.
