transferz operates a global marketplace for ground transportation, dedicated to travellers, travel brands, and transfer companies. Travellers can complete their travel plans with door-to-door transfers by selecting the transfer they want, based on vehicle type and price, and enjoy peace of mind on the first and last mile of their journeys.

transferz has its roots in Taxi2Airport, a well-established marketplace specialized in ground transportation around airports all over the world. Taxis, private cars, and small vans are among the standard modes of transport, but also limousines, helicopters, dedicated trains or even tuk tuks are part of the possibilities.

With coverage in 150+ countries and 1.500+ airports and more than 5.000 transfer companies in the network transferz is truly global. We have the ambition to become the market leader in ground transportation worldwide and therefore, we are looking for a passionate, creative, and open-minded person to join our team!

YOUR MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a social media intern you will be part of the commercial team which is responsible for all partner and customer-facing channels. Your responsibilities contain both corporate as consumer communication which makes this internship very responsible and diverse. You write your own content, you submit and you evaluate. Your visibility is high and you make our company loved by nice, factual, friendly, and fun communication!

You report to the Digital Marketing Manager of transferz.

YOUR PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• You are good with the written word and fluent in English and preferably Dutch;
• You are able to come up with snappy copy and understand the social tone of voice;
• You have a good eye when it comes to creating visual content.

Your Key Accountabilities

• Grow and improve the social footprint of transferz;
• Manage and set up the company's social media accounts including LinkedIn, Instagram & Facebook;
• Engage with our stakeholder groups on related channels to continue sharing our mission and promoting the brand;
• Draft new storylines, text, captions which align with our brand strategy;
• Assemble and analyze reports about channel engagement;
• Participate in strategy sessions for social channels

We’re a match if you:

• are studying Marketing or a related discipline;
• know the ins and outs of all major social media channels;
• like writing content;
• have the drive to strive for the best and to work according to the latest standards and best practices in online marketing and measurement;
• have the creativity to identify new and existing target audiences and come up with digital campaigns that engage, inform, motivate and convert;
• an entrepreneurial spirit with a good sense of humor;
• a hardworking and independent attitude;
• fluency in English, both written and verbal;
• almost a bachelor or master’s degree in marketing or a business-related discipline;
